Fr. Barron always has some of the best insight and great responses to current events…

A lot of the responses to the “Why I Hate Religion, but I Love Jesus” have mimicked the style of the original video, but Father Barron explores the video as a representation of individualistic Evangelical Protestant Christianity, and examines the history of that type of Christianity and its influence on American culture, politics & religiosity. Very insightful video.

“If he’s advocating a kind of indiviualized spirituality… if he’s trying to divorce Jesus from his mystical body of the Church, then he does not have an ally in me. He has a pretty fierce opponent.”
